Bedfordview's steep, leafy stands need careful tree work. We remove and prune large trees on slopes, over walls and near overhead lines, minutes from our Edenvale base.
Bedfordview is one of the most wooded suburbs on the East Rand, and one of the hilliest. Mature oaks, planes, camphors and pines grow on sloped stands where a tree that fails will not fall into open garden but onto a roof, a neighbour's wall or the road below.
Because we are based in Edenvale, Bedfordview is our home ground. We know the terraced gardens, the narrow panhandle driveways and the power-line routes, and we size the crew and equipment for the access, not just the tree.
Rigged, sectional removals on terraced and sloping gardens where there is no room for a tree to fall.
Careful reduction of trees growing into overhead power and telephone lines, with the utility notified when required.
Written assessments for insurers, body corporates and home sales, identifying trees that need attention.
Stumps ground out even on slopes and in tight corners, using compact grinders.
Yes. Sloped stands and tight boundaries are normal in Bedfordview. The tree is dismantled in sections and each piece is lowered by rope, so nothing falls where it should not.
We reduce crowns away from overhead lines and, where the lines must be isolated first, we arrange that with the utility before the work day.
Our base is in Edenvale, a few minutes away. Emergency call-outs after storms are prioritised for Bedfordview, Senderwood and Oriel because we can be on site fast.
Access is the main cost driver in Bedfordview. A tree on a flat stand with a wide gate costs less than the same tree on a terraced slope reached through a panhandle; the quote explains the difference.
